Create a Custom Scope
Define and save a reusable subset of objects for focused investigation.
Before you start

Step 1: Add objects to the canvas
Use search, Add linked objects, or Add callers/callees to build the set of objects you want to save as a scope.
Step 2: Save as a custom scope
In the Investigation panel, select Custom from the scope list. Then click Save as custom scope and enter a name.

Step 3: Reload the custom scope
The custom scope appears in the scope list for the application. Select it at any time to reload the saved set of objects.
Use cases
- Track a bounded context (for example, the payment processing flow) across multiple sessions.
- Share a specific subset of objects with a colleague.
- Create a focused view for a migration task.
