Search for a Specific Object

Find any class, method, table, or other object by name, full name, or regular expression.

The global search finds objects across all scopes and levels.

  1. Click the Search icon in the toolbar, or press the keyboard shortcut.
  2. Type the object name. Results appear as you type.
  3. Use filters to narrow the results by technology, object type, or tag.
  4. Click a result to display the object on the canvas.

Spotlight search is a quick way to jump to any object without opening the full search dialog.

Search within a scope

When you are already in a scope (for example, the Transaction scope), use the search bar in the left panel to filter the list of available items.

Advanced search options

Option Description
Regex pattern Use a regular expression to match object names
Case sensitive Match uppercase and lowercase exactly
Search by Name only, or full name (includes namespace and package)
Position Match at start, end, or anywhere in the name
