Data privacy

Data processed by CAST Imaging

CAST Imaging processes:

  • Application source code (stored on your infrastructure, not sent to CAST)
  • Analysis results (objects, links, metrics — stored in your PostgreSQL and Neo4j databases)
  • User actions (for audit trail purposes, stored locally)

Data sent to third-party AI providers

If you use AI features, CAST Imaging sends data to the AI provider you configured:

  • Explain features: code snippets from your application
  • AI chatbot: graph metadata (object names, relationships) — no source code

Your administrator is responsible for ensuring this is allowed by your organization’s data policy. See Set up AI integration.
