Generate an AI Functional Report

Produce a comprehensive AI-written report about an application for stakeholders without Imaging access.

What the report contains

The AI Functional Report is a document that describes the application in plain language. It covers:

  • Application overview and technologies
  • Module descriptions
  • Transaction summaries
  • Data call graph summaries

The report is intended for stakeholders who do not have access to CAST Imaging.

Step 1: Start the report

In the toolbar, click Generate AI functional report.

Step 2: Configure the report

Option Description
Scope Which parts of the application to include (modules, transactions, DCGs)
Generation method Graph Representation: includes call relationships. Exclusive Object: summarizes each object independently.

Step 3: Monitor progress

Report generation is a background job. Monitor the status in the job queue.

Step 4: Download the report

When the job completes, download the report. Share the file with stakeholders.
